How do you remove the hoodliner?
Asking for a friend, on my C6 they just pop off, tried on his C5 and felt resistance so I did not force it?

Just give the retainers a little pry with screwdriver or a trim tool remover.
They will come off okay. If they break thay are not too expensive to replace. I did my hoodliner on my C-5 with no problem getting it off.

Even with the Corvette tax they are only $1.85 at the stealership but to answer your question, yes, they do just pull off. I had to buy one. I even commented to the desk that this must be the cheapest part that they sell. He laughed and said, "You are probably right."
