Thanks in advance.
I think the decision will depend on what you intend to do with the car.
I love the S/C cars but, for reliability I'd go with the 427 if you plan to drive the car alot.
How much power do you want??? Is the bigger ? I think If you are going for all out power FI for sure. Build a stout 346 and F1R blower and put 700 to the ground..Hey now that i think of it I have a custom F1R setup for sale. let me know if your interested.
I've had both the setups you are talking about and I prefer NA big inch motors, I was running higher CR so I only ran like 6lbs boost and was running about 550 at the wheels which is what I am running with the stroker but the stroker has more torque, of course I could have turned up the boost but 700rwhp is useless on street tires and you sure as hell can't trust anyone to drive your car if it has over 400rwhp or they will deff hurt themselves if they try to get cute---I think you will find the 427 is a perfect situation for your car and what the hell if thats not enough then drop the CR and put an F1R setup on the 427 and run 800rwhp later on---
i guess its going to be the 427 My Dad is going to kille me if he hear the 427 but all you guys think the 427 is the best i will go for it next monthe or 2 .
Do you guys know who has the best deall on 427 instaled
Thanks
Good thinking. If you have them install the engine you'll get a 2 year/24k mile warranty, and I don't think that you'll ever need it. I've been running their motor for 2.5 years with no issues.
