Clutch adjustment (Confused)
I have a 2002 6sp w/12k miles.My clutch is not slipping however it catches too high on the petal travel for me.According to one adjustment that can be performed it states to have an assistant press the pedal to release the tention.With two screwdrivers move two of the 3 stepped adjusting rings counterclockwise.My question is what about the 3rd ring shouldn't that be adjusted too??? Also will this lower my pedal closer to the floor? It's looks like a simple adjustment it just dosn't seem like there should be more to it.Any help??? Thanks in advanced.....

You only have to move two of three and the third will follow. I just adjusted my LUK Gold. The ring inside the pressure plate is attached to all three and not each one individually. I don't think this is going to help travel but it will give you better clamping force and a slightly stiffer feel. You may have to go with an adjustable master to control the travel. Mcloed makes one. $250 I think.
