Drivers Seat Slippage
98 Convertible - 60K miles... Driver's seat moves back and forth a little when braking quickly. It's driving me crazy! One of my neighbors told me this is normal but it doesn't do it on my 04 Coupe. I looked at it and everything appears to be tight so I am not sure why the slippage. Any suggestions?

Yes, the rocking seat problem. There is a fix, it is a little involved but it works. If you were under warranty there is a TSB out for the fix.

Fairly common. I have gotten used to it and think it adds to the experience. Really freaks out friends and family the first time the drive the vette. Since they feel a bit out of control, I think it keeps them honest.
