valve job?
First i think my valve guides are letting oil into the cylinders.Can you do a valve job on a ls1,and will it last or would it be a matter of time until i have more problems.Thanks Mark

The short answer to your question is yes, you can do a valve job on an LS1. From your question I am assuming you are burning oil. I hope I'm not giving you redundant advise but, there have been some LS1's that have had ring issues and have had them repaired. There have been service bulletins issued by GM because of this. If your engine falls into the parameters covered by the service bulletin, you may be entitled to the repair on 'the general'.
