How to water proof ???
OK I normally don't drive the vette if it's going to poor down, but the wife's 300 m is in the body shop due to a wreck. So the other day coming home in the rain the ABS and Traction control lights came on.
Had a code for lost comm with ABS. After drying out all is fine. It's a 97 and I'll bet money a lot of connectors need cleaning and a little extra protection from water. What about computer behind wheel well ??? I've got the service manual and can't find the right section or spot to even find all of the darn computers on this thing.

I just had this same problem yesterday! I had to drive through pouring rain, because of the wife, and now the ABS and Active Handling are yelling at me.
Is this just what happens when you have to drive through rain?
Will this dry out and I will be ok?
How can you improve where the GM engineer's failed?

Mine does the same on a hit or miss basis when we get heavy rain.code never lasts longer than a day or two, and doesn't always happen when it rains. I just think of it as one of the quirks of a C5 like the column lock or on off /gas guage.
