Can anyone here give me any insight, into the world of line locks. What brand to purchase, what features to look for. Aprox cost, how hard to install. Results to expect, ect..........

Give Cartek a call. They have the best and easiest set-up for a C5. All lines are prebent and instructions included.

I installed a Cartek kit a couple of weeks ago. You will pay about $50 more for the Cartek kit over the Hurst but the good thing is the brake line is pre bent. You can see the install
here .

I have the TCI set-up. All these are is a soloniod and a switch. That said, the Cartek unit comes with prebent lines and fittings so it's the easiest package out there. Biondo, TCI, Hurst all make these units for about $100.00

But if you get the Hurst kit, don't forget about buying the install kit and a tubing bender and flare tools. That is why I went with Cartek.

thanx to everyone.
Looks like cool mod, and a great way to save the rear pads and rotors.

It's part of the B&M shifter.

Oh, that's so cool. I really like the way the wires snake up the boot. Ya know, you should be shot for butchering a Corvette.
