Decarbing and Ceramic coating??
Hey everyone, I am going to decarb my 97 mn6 and was wondering since my headers are coated inside and out would the decarbing strip my ceramic coating on the inside? My budding has a 2000 mn6 and he cleaned the inside of his headers with carb cleaner and a little drip fell on the outside and he said it strip the coating like it was nothing. Does anyone know how or if this procedure would affect the ceramic coating on the inside of the headers?
