Can you get someone to stand by the car at the bump so they can localize it better?
I'd say, if you go over, say a speedbump, slowly and you don't hear anything its probably NOT your suspension. Rather something else that is loose, broken or rubbing. In otherwords, it takes a sharp jolt to hear the noise.
Probally just the bushings. Just spray the hell out of them with a spray silicone. No need to take them apart, if you don't want to. Just find all the rubber parts you can and stick the little red straw inside and spray away. Worked for me
It is most likely your rear sway bar bushings. Pull them off and put synthetic grease on them, or spray the hell out of them with some type of spray lube that won't damage the rubber.
Going over bumps, I get a squeek coming from (it sound like) the back of the car.
I was thinking exhaust, rear suspension bushing, or broken parts. In what order should I be looking?
Thanks
For what it's worth: After chasing a squeak/vibration which only occasionally manifested itself (while accelerating from a stop or turning sharply), it ended up being one of the pairs of aftermarket add-on exhaust chrome extensions that were too close to one another. A quick adjustment of the gap between them stopped the noise.
