weird a/c problem
Check out my signature for the mods. I rarely use my a/c but I put it on just now and pulled out of driveway (scraped alittle in the middle of the car a bit (But that's common for this car). As I depress the accelerater nothing happens the engine is still running in the "D" gear but no acceleration. I turned the a/c off, put the car in park, turn the car off for 15 sec and it restarts and drives like nothing happened (w/o the a/c on). I drove to my destination with the a/c on and it seemed fine! A month ago I lost a serpentine belt and some of it got caught near the a/c belt and it had to pulled out by hand, but it all came out and the car has been running fine. Any ideas? I Have an FLP level 4 tranny.

Well it was the a/c compressor and related parts, don't know why it affected the car like that, but the good news is that the $2000 parts and labor is covered maybe I'll have to pay 1-2 hra for unbolting the ati blower! I'll update you. Boy I guess I'm lucky since my exted warranty expires July 17, 2005
