What gears???
WHat gears should I get..
I am going to go he N/A route on the vette so I am going to go Heads and cams and headers and rear gears..
but I can't decide which ones to get.. I so some Drag racing and want to do Auto-X also..
I was thinking 3.73 but I have seen a lot of people saying 4.10.. I am not to much worried about MPG but I don't want it to be a complete gas hog you know..
and any good name brands or places to buy these from???

If you are going to race at the drag strip you might want 3.90's.....I have 4.10's and love'm....the street doesn't have a white line going side to side..........so you just keep your foot in it and watch your rear view mirror.............

I love the 4.10s that I had put in, but I did hear if you are going to run tracks that get you up to speed then the 4.10s will have too many gear changes. If you are running the 1/4 more then I would recommend the 4.10s.
My car with Stinger, GHL cat-back and 4.10s has a best 1/4 time of 12.66 so far which is not bad. Of course I can only get that with DRs on. Acutally I have been told that the 4.10s without DRs might actually hurt me then help because I can't get traction.
Overall the 4.10s are great gears though. Around town I can get into 4th and leave it there. I can slow down and speed up without changing gears and with the stock 3.42s I always felt in between gears.
On the highway in 6th I also have more pull power so again no need to switch gears to get pass someone.
You probably need to make a decision on what you are going to do more and then deciding on gears would be easier.
