Default 04 c5 sensor when hp get high please help ????

hi i have a o4 vette and put on a pro charger with 8 psi and also did some aggressive cam set and a 3200 stall converter with a billet plate with 160degree temp.also they keyed the crank and a bigger chain and bored the oil pump and some magna flow exhaust. and when the place tunes the car to high hp then a sensor with the active handling comes on then reduces the power. my mac. says its a problem with 04 vettes. so he was to have crane come down to work with him to delete that code do you know if thats true.

You have a button on the console labeled "active handling". If you depress it after your car is running, you should have a yellow light showing a vette skidding on the dash and "Active Handling OFF" shown on the DIC. This mode puts control of the car entirely in your hands.

You can also depress and hold the active handling button until "COMPETITION MODE" shows up on the DIC. This mode puts control of the car in your hands with active handling keeping watch until you get too far out of shape...which is when it takes over again.

Basically the Hp your are generating now is trying to rip the tires off of the pavement and the active handling is not letting it....that's how it's designed.....it's not a problem. You do NOT want to disable this permanently. Just change the active handling modes with the button (also described in the owner's manual).

Sounds like AH/TC kicking in. Get a Lap Trax or learn to turn it off(like I do) all the time.

Be sure that your tuner removes "torque management", because it will make an auto fall on its face(ie. bog down) as well. Especially with the mods you have.

Good Luck,

Sounds like you have a great combo going there. Post the dyno numbers when you get the bugs worked out.

What or who is 'my mac'? Who or what is 'crane'? Do we know what is true or not?

Can you clarify these issues? I have no idea what you are talking about.
'mac' is illiterate-speak for 'mech', or 'mechanic'.
