If you point them up or down won't the roller be facing the wrong direction? (i.e. 90 degrees off) On my buddie's 2000 Z28 they faced towards the front of the car. I am sure ls1tech could help you out.

I believe he would know to put the roller on downside, heh, what I think he is asking is, since there are basically two ways to do this and the only difference being which way the oil hole faces. Been over a year now, but i noticed this when I did mine also, I know I did them all the same way, but damned if I can definately remember which way the oil hole faced, but I am pretty sure it was toward the cam. Maybe someone else who has done this more often will chime in?

Good Luck!

Ok, now I know what you were saying, turned 90 in the lifter gallery, dont think the lifter guides would go on if you do that.

it makes sense to have them pointing up because if they were pointing down thats where the lifter bore drain hole is.im looking for some feedback.I'm not shure but on ls1's this might be different guys on LS1tech stated it didnt matter so it might on a LS6.
