Now yesterday I got the old oil pressure reading 120 +.
I see from the many threads that this happens all the time and I'm wondering if I have to fix it right away or can I leave it for a month or 2 and save more $$ for tires....
funny side not: called the local corvette shop for a quote on sensor replacement and he immediatly said "what year is your C5"?
Buy the sensor and fix it now yourself. Oil pressure is something you should always be able to monitor because, without it, the engine is toast in no time. It should only take you a couple of hours using the posted tech tip and the sensor itself is cheap.
