I just ordered my GHL bullets today- I had GHL on my Porsche, so hopefully I'll be just as pleased

So far of the thousands of GHL buyers NO ONE, NOT 1 SINGLE PERSON has said they have ANY TYPE of drone or resonance at ANY rpms..

Frankly bro, I don't know who your are or how long you've been here on the forum, but I don't believe your post..

Healthy cam and compression. LTs, no cats, x pipe, and GHLs no drone in mine. I have a friend in his very close setup but a 383 with cats and no drone in his.

I went back and forth with this decision about two months ago. 2002 M6 Conv and I didn't want to hear the resonating inside the car! I went with the indy's and had the exact problem I didn't want. Horrible around 1800rpm. I made the switch and went with the GHL's and couldn't be happier. They are hands down the finest quaulity exhaust you will fine! Completely polished. Sold my Indy's and wouldn't go back, There not bad and certainly less money than the GHL's but you get what you pay for! LG's going on the car next week! Can't wait....As for the X-pipe, hold off and see what you think......

Who said GHL's drone? I have the Magnums and GHL said that they would have "slight resonance at 1800rpms" I have yet to hear it....

They sound awsome.

I am sure you are very proud of your Corsa's, but next to B&B's, Borlas, GHL's they sound much less aggressive. Now that is not saying it is a bad thing but when someone wants to know about sound you need to be realistic.

GHL= NO DRONE NO RESONANCE NO MOTORBOAT PUTT PUTT SOUND
GHL= STRONG V8 MUSCLE CAR SOUND!!!
MADE 100% IN THE USA TOO!
THATS ALL MATERIALS..
NOT imported materials & then ASSEMBLED IN THE USA like other brands are...

100% AMERICAN MADE, from raw materials to assembly!!!
I had both resonance and popping on decel and between shifts with GHL Bullets mated to Magnaflow X-pipe. I have read others here report the same.

Well, I actually changed to Stingers because the Indy's were way more aggressive. They were just right with headers and hf cats, but after I did my h/c swap they were like . Some things I will say about the difference between the 2. The Borla's are deeper. If that is what you mean by aggressive, that is proof of the subjectiveness of sound quality. I like the Borla's more than the Corsa's for the deepness of the tone, but IMHO the Corsa Indys were more aggressive sounding. My neighbors thought so too. The Borla's drone like hell in my car between 1600 and 1900rpm's. Right where my highway cruising takes place. I am going to try and do something about that. The Borla's fit better, and are much lighter. As to flow, I don't know.
In regards to being realistic as far as sound goes, I used to be a recording engineer and have what is considered 'golden ears' in hi-fi circles. I just know what to listen for... As an expert in the field of professional listening, I will tell you that when sound is used to produce an emotional response, it is mostly subjective. So I support those above when they advise to listen to the exhaust of interest.

The "second single person" has just posted above. Please realize that there are more Vette owners out there than you could possibly keep track of. Wanna meet half way (to RI) and hear the drone? Or we could hook up at Carlisle and you can hear it then. But be prepared to make a small wager on this!

I've got about 37K miles on my GHL Bullets. Popping and I like it......it means I have a high compression, high performance motor under the hood (Ever heard a Sprint Car?)

Resonance I can hear them some at 1500, and you should be able to hear the motor.....but it's NOT what I call resonance, and it certainly isn't loud or even annoying.

You want resonance.......ride in a car with Loudmouths.....you won't be able to hear for hours

If you want resonance ride in a C4 with the old B&Bs. I think both Corsa and GHL owners that have heard resonance are just hearing some load on the motor.

Both are quiet inside. However I think the GHLs are made better and sound much better outside. I've heard plenty of Corsas and never cared for the sounds especially if the car only has boltons.

As others have said sound is very subjective ride and listen to both with comparable mods to your plans

GHL also has amazing customer service Call GHL directly if you have questions and get a price from them

I have an otherwise stock 04 convertible MN6 with the 3.5" GHL Bullets. I too have a slight drone or resonance (not sure I know the difference) somewhere near the 1600 rpm range. It is not terribly bothersome but it is definitely there. I only notice it in 6th gear when freeway cruising. It's not enough to make me regret the decision but it is mo' definitely present.

I should get the GHL Bullets with 4" tips by early next week since I got a tracking number from Jeff of GHL. What I want are, not so aggressive but better sound than stock, no drone, high quality. deep sound and quite at cursing. So I decided to go with GHL although I didn't hear actual sound in person. I believe the should be awesome.

Actually Tim (Target Chaser) influenced me to make a decision. He posted many pictures for GHL Bullets and answered some questions. Thanks again Tim!!

I just had B&B bullett and x pipes put on my 04. Man it sounds great. Its loud at 1500 rpm but then when you get up to 50-7-mph it is fine. It sounds like the old 396 chev I use to have. Love the sound. Low and rumbles. (My wife wont ride with me anymore says its to loud) If I had known that I would hve gotten them long ago.

I've had my Ghl bullets with the Ghl x-pipe for several months now and couldn't be happier. There still is some gurgling on decel but not bad. I myself haven't noticed any resonance with mine. They are very tame when you want them to be and sound awesome when you open it up. It did get a deeper and throatier sound when I added the Halltech Stinger. I can't comment on the Indy's because I've never heard them, but I've been extremely happy with the Ghl's. I would recommend them to anyone.

Well, I did it! I just called GHL and placed my order for the Bullets. They will ship in about a week. I plan on having Andy at A&A Corvettes in Oxnard, CA install them. Is there anything I should pass along to the installer before I take it in?

I have to agree the Borla Stingers sound awesome. I have had no resonance issues and I love the agressive rumble!

Just went to GHL Motorsports this week to get mine. All I can say is.......not only is the exhaust first class, but so are the people. You can't go wrong with them. At least you know where to go if there is ever a problem.
