Octane table question
How often does the computer check to see which table to use for proper octane? Just on start up or constant? Wondering for example it detects the low octane on start up and retards the timing etc, will it stay that way until the engine is restarted and it detects higher octane? Or does it periodicaly re-check at some time interval and if high octane, return to the high table for air/fuel/timing charts? Thanks, Sorry for posting in Tech at first......................
