Default Help! my HVAC smells bad

My HVAC has a musty smell comming out of the vents.
My Chevy truck has a filter that can be replaced.
Does the Vette?
Has anyone had this and corrected it?
Thanks in advance.

I've found alot of rodents like to climb into the a/c box and build nests. there is a product that you can spray into the system and it will help clean up and musty smell from storage. I believe there are a few varaiations out there available at most parts stores. we use a product from a company called Wurth I'm not sure it's available at stores or not.

Make sure your drain tube is open, most of the time you get the musty smell it's pluged and sooner then later your carpeting will start getting wet on the passenger side.
It can be found coming through the firewall on the pass side right above the exhaust pipe.

Mold build up on evaperator. GM has a bulletin for it. Hvac fan cutoff switch delay. Dries up wet evaperater to keep mold under control.
