I went from a zip tie to the vararam and i felt the difference. Im sure you will more since you have a cam and more mods that would hold your stock intake back some.

Are you skinny? I don't know how you could feel the difference. Must be the dreaded placebo effect I've seen posted.
You will proably have a tougher time noticing the gains on a car as modded as yours, compared to an almost stock car. You will, however, see some good gains since your car's intake and exhaust is efficent with the exception of the air filter system.(read; the intake is your bottle neck)
Don't worry about the install, it is a piece of cake. It takes a little time because there is a lot to take off, but cajundudes instructions are very detailed.
It will be far superior to the zip tie mod, but you did pay a little extra. I got mine for $325 shipped as well
Just last week end I put vararam on my 04. Also put kooks headers, and B&B Bullett exhaust with x-pipe. The guy that installed it said dont look to see any difference with the vararam until you reach speed of over 60 mph. Car runs and sounds great.

I am not skinny. But i think everyone can feel the difference from a zip tie mod to a vararam. The vararam is made of hard plastic and the zip tie mod uses a few zip ties, i think everyone can feel the difference in materials.
