Default Paint blemish problems

I recently purchased a 2000 and it had some paint blems on the horizontal surfaces. They look like hard water spots but are probably tree sap or bird ****. They would not rub out by hand but did come out with a professional wet sand and buff. About 3 weeks later with the hood looking great, I left the car in the bright sun for 10 hrs and all the blems reappeared. Do we just keep cutting, or repaint? Is there anything else to try? Is Corvette paint more suseptable to this than steel cars? HELP!

If you went through the wet sand and buff I'm sure you reapplied wax. It all depends on whether the blemishes are in the paint. If they are, your probably looking at a paint. There is a website that has been very helpful to me. I think it is called the detailing bible or something like that. Good luck.
