This may help. The chain is not factory! This is looking at the frame just ahead of the LF wheel. You can see there is a large bolt that runs through the frame from top to bottom. There is a pipe welded inside the frame that the bolt goes through to keep the frame from collapsing. There are four of these bolts, two through each frame rail. The bolts are locked on top so you don't have to hold the top while loosening the nuts. Just ahead of the bolt you can see a small aluminum dowel pin that locates the member under the frame. There is still quite a bit of movement when you loosen the bolts. The member under the rear of the car is mounted the same way as the front.

The motor mounts to the sub-frame. Sub frame mounts to the main frame.

yeah the rear stuff i already have, but im still debating on the front, it looks like it might be easier to use C4 front suspension, because with the motor mounting to the subframe, it may not work, because the wheel base is 4" longer than the vette. there would probably end up being a 4" gap between the torque tube and the engine. i dont know what im going to do about that. shortening is easy, but making all that stuff longer might be a problem.
