Default A/C Help Needed.....

My PAssenger Side Blows Cooler air than my Driver Side??? I have the temp set at the lowest setting... 60 Degrees...

Also If I try to make the passenger side warmer using the dial It makes no difference..

Also most importantly.. It takes forever to get cool.... Like 5 minutes..and it is ONLY cool NOT cold...

How can I check for low freon???

You're low on freon. You can check with a set of guages, or take it somewhere and have them check it.

Default ac

im guessing you have the dual climate control

if your passenger side is blowing cold and your driver isnt
my guess would be the driver side ac door actuator is gone and not freon
however you can try to reset it by pulling the hvac fuse in the floorboard(#28 i believe) turn the key on (not start) replace the fuse this should reset the hvac system
try that and see if it works
mine didnt afterwards so i had to replace the drv ac door actuator 286.xx plus labor it is covered under extended warranty though
hope this helps also in the event it is the actuator it shouldnt take long to change as i had an alignment with tie rod end replacement and power steering pump seal replaced at the same time in less than 6 hours for everything so just the actuator shouldnt take long as
i think the actuator is external

I thought the same thing, reset the doors - which I did a few times. I took it to the dealer and he told me that everyone thinks its the doors but its low freon. When there is not enough cold, it just comes out the one side. I had tried to recharge the AC myself, but he evacuated the system first, then recharged - its freezing now, both sides. They charged me about $100 to evaluate and recharge, which was well worth it to me since its already in the 90's here in Tampa -
