Oil pressure question
I am considering buying a 97 vette. Everything seems fine except the oil pressure gauge is maxed out at 80+ and the computer reading for the oil pressure is 218 psi. Is this probably just a sensor problem? Also, after reading through the forum what is this piston knock I read about and is it a serious problem?

Yeah it's the oil pressure sensor, and the piston noise is "normal" per GM. So, no there is no huge caution flag there, just you may want to go find another vette that doesn't make the piston noise. Mine doesn't.
