What PCM fits a 1999?

What PCM fits a 1999?
I bought a 99 coupe automatic that has the PCM missing out of it. What years will fit it? Does the PCM have to be from a corvette?

I believe both 99 and 00 model year PCM part #'s are identical. Check your dealer, they can tell you very easily, and are rather cheap these days ($125). Yes, you need a C5 PCM, and the dealer may need to load a default model year program into it. then may need to perform PCM/BCM 'handshake' procedure if you get those codes. I've swapped used PCMs into other matching part number model year C5's without incident and was able to read and write to them with my editing software no issues. Good luck
