Default Brake Fluid recirculation

Does the brake fluid in the resevoir get recirculated? I noticed my brake fluid is very dirty. If I just clean out the resevoir with a turkey bastor or suringe and put new clean fluid back in will it reach all the way down the lines to the calipers or would you recommend bleeding the brakes.

Thanks !

Bleed 'em, Did mine about 2 months ago...All the old fluid came out dark, I have a 2k vert..about 40k miles...btw, the fluid does not circulate, but it does absort moisture over time, that's why it looks dark...Hope this helps. SAVE THE WAVE!!

No circulation just level replenishment as your pads wear. Bleed the system if you want clean fluid.
