I hear ya! With the way dyno sheets are thrown around this place, it's hard not to use them as a focus point.

The new plugs & wires are going in tomorrow night and my tuner is e-mailing me the LS1 Edit file so that I can forward it on to Lou @ LGM. I'll re-dyno in about two weeks. Hopefully it's something simple.

Would have also put your mind to rest as to the differences in the dyno readings. Too late now I suppose.

Seems like you are in the ball park when compared to a similar setup (EB20003). I agree that maybe your initial dyno runs were optimistic.
Actually, he did make a single base-line run but I didn't post it because it was littered with false-knock and the numbers were very low (321/299 with significant knock/timing-retard). From past dyno sessions, the first dyno pull always had knock-induced lower numbers but succeeding pulls always produced consistent (and higher) numbers. In this case I should've asked him to do another base-line measurement to get a better base-line perspective, but that didn't happen. Regardless of this, and the lower dyno results, the tuning session went smoothly.

I'm going to let Lou look at my LS1 Edit file and I'm going to change plugs/wires. I'll re'dyno in a couple of weeks.

Same dyno, but a little bit more ideal conditions. Go back on staurdays when its three pulls for $35 or so with air/fuel. See if cooler temps help out.

I agree with the plug and wire change.
I would also do a decarbonizing before you go back to dyno.
Try some seafoam then the plug & oil change.
