That will ensure that nobody drives it. If not when you get to your destination just put it on blocks and run it in reverse.

Ill tell you, unplug the plug in the back of the cluster. You wont have any gauges or info though. I backed my car out of the garage and back in just fine without a cluster in it!! I wouldnt go far though even though the cluster isnt keeping track, the black box is. All it takes is for your car to hit a GM scan station and they can tell all..... I can tell you what time your trans,BCM, arrived and departed gm. And a few other things ... Scary isnt it??

Wow this is the 2nd time I see someone ask how to disconnect their speedo. Like anyone of us who might be buying a used Vette will want to hear that.
Put it on a trailer then you wont worry about the miles....

I see...one post. Ok, the easiest way is to remove the little plug on the back. If you can't find it, just pull out your Civic owner's manual, and you should find it.
