Default LS6 Intake with my current mods???

Hello gents,

I was wondering what you all thought of this Idea....I have a 97 A4 with Stainless B&B shorty headers, Haltech Stinger and a Z06 catback. I would like to know if adding the intake would give me any extra grunt? I did notice a difference in the shorties, intake and catback- but thought maybe the larger intake with better runners would help since I opened up the exhaust a little better..

Thanks!

You won't see much of a gain by installing an LS6 intake on an engine with stock internals. One member dynoed his car with bolt on's (headers, catback etc.) before adding the LS6 intake and right after installing it. He gained exactly 0 HP.

I had the same experience. I wouldn't bother till you get a cam installed, etc..

I did I have a very sensitive buttometer though... In all honesty, if you can't get one cheap then don't bother. I scored mine for 100 bucks about a year ago and threw it on my SS, and then when I bought my Corvette I snagged it and threw it on there.
