No negatives for me. I have a 300Wx2 stereo amp also and no issues with charging. I have my idle set at 825 rpm's. I got mine from Thunder racing. I wouldn't recommend putting one in unless you are pulling the front cover off and removing the stock pulley. It invloves having to remove the power steering rack and you have to have a big torque wrench and a big breaker bar to install one. I've had mine on and off twice and it is a bit of work for the 5-7hp it will net you.
ASP pullies installed when my H/C went in. No issues, I'm running a 500X5 power amp. How much power it adds...I've heard between 5-10RWHP. It was part of the H/C package from ECS
No problems here. Lingenfelter put mine in with the H/C package. I don't think they would have included it if it didn't provide substantial gain in power, or if I would have issues with it. LPE doesn't like "issues"!
whats the part # on the ATI unit and is it for a stock C5?is it 10% or 25% ?
Part # is 917278. That's the 10% underdrive with A/C pulley. They don't make a 25% underdrive for the 'Vette. They only have the OEM diameter, the 10%, and a 60% for dry sump applications.
