Is GM the place to buy a new FOB or does anyone know where I can get a better deal for a new FOB?
The forum vendors will give you the best deal on a NEW fob. Make sure you get the right one. I'd stay away from used ones. They go bad with such regularity that you run a good chance of buying someone's broken fob. Stay particularly away from E-bay (we should re-name it scam-bay).
Once you purchase a new fob, you will have to train it to your car through the DIC.

Couldn't agree more. Fred Beans will ship a new one for $85. It is worth buying a brand new one.

We are talking fobs not tire pressure sensors. Nericreations re-builds '97-'00 sensors.
