Default Forum Help Please

Im looking to upgrade my stock 2.73.s what brand and from who would you recommed. Im looking for 3.42s. thanks.

Ken Fichtner, Fred Beans, GM Parts direct, and others would be a good start. You can get a 3.42 differential from lots of places, but these guys and others have the Getrag 3.42 diffs and for reasonable prices.

If you will be doing any drag racing then it is a good idea to upgrade the stock torque converter with a higher stall converter as well.

Be advised that PCM tuning for proper scaling from 2.73 to 3.42 gears will be required.

All good companies. I bought mine from http://www.tbyrnemotorsports.com/index.html Make sure you get the ZO6 rear, it is a little stronger due to shot peening.
