How do you tighten the drivers window? When it is up all the way the window still has a lot of play in it. Which in turn creates an air suction driving down the road.
Mine rattles when it's all the way down, very annoying. I've learned to just tap the up button to raise it about 1/4" (still not visible) and that tightens it up. Loose on the top....don't know. Good luck
It may not necessarily be a loose window. If you're like me, and drive around with your arm on the top of the door panel all the time, you've probably loosened the door panel. A Corvette technician told me this when I complained about it under warrantee. He said the window was tight in it's mounts. It was the upper door panel that was loose, and fixed me up. But it eventually comes back.
Anyone know how to tighten up the fit on the top of the door panel?

I've pulled a window before and its very easy to tighten the window.
Pull off the door panel which is the hardest part. you will see 2 metal brackets with rubber on them on the bottom edge of the window. Just tighten those brackets that clamp the window in place its only 1 bolt on each bracket.
Take your time removing the door panel ...look very carefully each step of the way.
remove the inside door handle first...remember there are wires that connect to the doorpanel for the power windows and door locks and mirrors. its not a hard job, just tedious.
I had the same problem. The rubber bushing on the bottom of the window bracket works itself loose. I took off the door panel and just pushed the bushing back in, it's where the front of the bracket attaches to the door.. It did'nt seem like this could be the fix, but no more rattling.
