transmission problem code p1870
got a p1870 code last year prior to winter coming.
reset the dic and everything was OK
have driven about 500 miles since spring.
today was first hot day. tran fluid temp went to 217 and then threw the 1870 code again.. Have read that it may just need a new control valve body with a revised tcc regulator.
Anyone have a similar problem.
Also. Does anyone know a good shop in the worcester mass area.
I have a 97 A4 with 75,000 miles.
