C1214 code with ABS, TCS, and AH lights--any advice???
Fellow Corvette Lovers....I need some advice/insight on where to go with this problem. A couple of weeks ago, the service ABS, TCS, and Active Handling lights all came on, out of no where. Then I shut the car off, waited overnight and they went away. 1 week later..same thing. Now about 4 days ago they came on and are staying on and I have a code C1214 (solenoid valve relay or ckt open related code), C and H.
Any advice on what fuses to pull?? What to try?? I don't have a garage to lift it up...so any clue on how to check it on the ground w/wheels on?? What connections I can get to and check?? Any further advice even if I have to try and lift it? Thanks!
It's gonna be either your EBCM or BPMV or both. Do a search for "Service AH/TC/ABS" and you will find more info than you care to read about this problem. I had the same thing a few months ago and the repair cost was nearly $3000.00 all covered under warranty. Good luck!
Did you get the same code I have? Becuase it sounds like you had to replace the whole computer units...which would display those TCS codes. I have no ABS ECM codes...
I got, "Service AH/TC/ABS" in the DIC which is... TCS 1214HC. Bad news is the BPMV (GM Part #10343432) cost's $1613.65 from the dealer but only $938.17 from another vendor; I,ll send you a PM. The EBCM costs 935.72 (dealer) $533.36 (other) but then again, something else could be wrong. If I were you, I would take it in to the dealer and find out for sure whats wrong and see if you can get any parts listed above from (other) and save a little cash. Good luck!
