Are c5 wheels interchangable with a zo6?
I'm in dilema! I have a '99 coupe and just purchased new tires from the tire rack.They are stock sized 245/45-17 and 275/40-18. I also purchased 2000 five spoke chrome from Mid-america, 17/8.5 and 18/9.5. I have just received the wheels and they are 17/9.5 and 18/10.5, which are the stock zo6 wheels for 2000. They are 1 inch wider than the stock wheels. I will use them if I can. They are only an inch wider and the tire sizes I have is acceptable by the Tire Rack. Can I use them, will they hit the wheel wells? Thanks for any input...Bob

The C5 Z06 is still a C5, it's not that different of a car. The Z06 wheels will fit fine. You can stretch those tires on the Z06-sized wheels, but it won't be ideal. How about selling the new tires, and buying some proper and perfect tires for the Z06-sized wheels?
