Borla Stinger is too quiet.....HELP
'02 Z06 w/ borla stingers and stock car. Toying around w/ eliminating the cats or getting a cat-back x-pipe. Its not loud enough right now. I want it to be at least 30% louder. Any suggestions on what to do and where to get it done for under $500 for everything????

You definitely need to do a nice set of long tubes (LGM, Dynatech, Kooks, etc) and, optionally, high-flow cats. My Borla Stingers became MUCH louder after putting LGM LTs and high-flow cats on my car.

OR......if you can find a buyer/trade for your stingers you can go with a B&B bullet system. The B&B is louder than the Borla`s by about the 30% you seek but in a good way IMO, much deeper growl, my son says it sounds like "a Ferrari on steroids!"
And yes, I know this first hand as I had the Borla on previously.

I felt the same way with my Stingers...sounded good but missing that little something. After a pair of Kooks headers I was rewarded with a very menacing exhaust note. If this is your daily driver, you might want to spend some time around someone with this setup as many will atest it is NOT for the faint of heart! As this setup is used on my car for racing and weekends only - I could not be happier.
