Which Cam Spec(s) Affect Valvetrain Noise
What number or numbers in the grind of a cam have the greatest effect on increasing valvetrain noise....or is the increased noise more the result of other upgrades required, springs etc., in installing the cam ?

Lobe ramp rate and valve spring tension have more to do with valve train noise than any of the numbers on the cam.Quick opening and closing profiles and higher spring rates not only make more noise but accelerate valve spring and valve spring seat wear. Its the cost of making more power...
