Default ... Memory Pkg ...

Hi guys, Ive got the memory pkg on my 99 coupe. As I understand that once you set the set, mirrors, radio, AC temp, it all get stored in memory and stays there. Im the only driver for my car (as most of you are too), So for my comfort I'd like to use both buttons for myself. I use different seating postions when driving relaxed, or fast.. I got that accomplished.

My question is - for some reason when I start my car, it always turn ON the AC and recyle button to ON. I have to switch the AC off every single time. And everytime I switch it OFF, and switch OFF the recyle, I turn ON the Fresh air incoming with fan on 2 speed...hoping this will stay in the memory - by pushing on Memory 1 or 2 button, until the light stops flashing. This is how the book says its supposed to store info in memory. But every time I shut off the car, and restart..the AC is ON again... Whats up? Anyone one have any ideas. My mirrors and set works fine...

Thanks in advance..

I'm not 100%, but I think it "memorizes" the temp you have the climate control set to, so if that entails AC, that's what kicks on. I notice it runs the AC compressor on mine ~35 degrees and above.

I actually want the opposite with my AC, I want it on Recirc all the time, but I can't figure out how to get it to stay there. It adjusts on it's own and I have keep hitting Recirc again (exhaust fumes suck!!)
