Broke off 3 bolts on the rear coupling. Can I Get replacement couplings (input and output) for the propeller shaft or do I have to replace the whole assembly? I cannot locate these parts.

As far as I know to date, you have to get the whole assembly, they dont just sell the couplers, but you can get the aluminum ones from LG or call and ask if he has any take offs he can sell you. BtW what numbers are you putting down to do this damage?
Sorry,, wear glasses and pics too small to see the details. I would consider the upgrade for this shaft. Don't remember who sells it, I am sure others do,, but if you have enough HP to damage this one,, consider upgrade vs. stock replacement.
I have a torque assembly from my stock vette. It is an automatic unit......what is yours? Mine has only 39,000 miles....all stock motor..I am selling it for 400.00 obo.
Hello, If you beat on your car, you may want to start looking for this P/N Tourqe Tube.
Starting in model year 2001 production Z06's were fitted with P/N 12564457 {Improved Torque Tube & Drive Shaft Assembly-Torque Tube Assembly } and these P/N's were slowly introduced into all model corvettes that year. My contact at GM could not give me specifics but as of today all Manual Trans replacement Torque Tube Assembly's have P/N 12564457.
Tq Tube P/N 12564457.
The driveshaft is upgraded from a metalmatrix composite to aluminum alloy 6061, and it is increased in diameter from 55mm to 63mm. Driveshaft couplings have also been upgraded on manual-equipped models for additional strength and durability.
Its about $500 from Gene @ Fred Beans for the newer driveshaft assy. It includes new couplers (rubber bushings) driveshaft, ect. What I'm not sure is if it will fit into your cars torque tube. If it will work with your TT, that would be the best way pricewise IMO.
I have searched and did an inquiry as to anybody with the newer (01 and up) torque tube. I never found anybody here on the forum that has had the newer style rubber bushings go bad:
The rear bearings will still go bad on the newer setup. Two of us that have 01 Z06s with 50-60k miles and about 25 trackdays each, both had bad bearings, but our rubber bushings looked like new.
