My drivers window suddenly stopped working yesterday! It still click and sounds like a relay is being done and the passenger window still works just fine. The locks aswell; only that one does not. Want can it be? Motor? Some fuse i havent seen yet? DO I have to bump the motor with a hammer? any ideas? before i have to take it to chevy?????
cheap plastic gears in the motor that moves your window up and down. You can sit there and hit the up and down button to see if it will work but chances are it is done for. You'll need to replace the motor that operates the window. If you are under warranty take it to the dealer.
Common problem. Try slamming the door while depressing the button in both up and down direction. This will sometimes break it loose. I got mine to start working by driving over a rough road and operating the windows. Once you get it working, open and close the windows occasionally since they tend to stick after periods of non use.

I have had this happen 3 times in my 03 vette. It is a regulator that will fail without ANY warning. Luckly, it fails while the window is in the up position.
I had this problem a while back. The slamming door thing seemed to help a few times, but the problem got worse. Check out my old thread and find out what I discovered was the "true" problem and my fix. This fix has been in place for a good while now with no problems.
