Ported 2.5 ls6 or 5.3 heads ??? Which are the best to use?

that question has alot of variables in it what application do you have to the motor right now ? are you gonna spray it ? cam the car ? supercharge it ? then you would wanna askyourself whats the appropiate size cc chamber i wanna run with the intended application hmm ?

 

All else being equal LS6 heads will out flow 5.3 heads. Thus making a bit more power.

 

from TSP,they say unless you go bigger cam or displacement wise then ls-6 heads are good,I got 5.3 heads from them,theyre higher comp. so more HP.,gotta 224/581/116cam,it all depends on your goal,if eventually you wanna go big then get the ls-6 heads.
