Default Gear selection

Guys,
I have decided to change the gears in my 98 A4 stock. I cant decide which ones to go with. Does anyone mind making a suggestion? Here is also what is also going on. Vararam, CompCams 220/200 .581/.581 114lsa, cc918 springs, 25% UD pulley, lowered, and a borla stinger catback, and a ls1edit tune. I will also be buying a higher stall torque converter. So, which stall, and what gears? I drive it to work 3 days a week for 17 miles each way. I dont track it. 4:10s would prob just smoke the tires all day. I am considering 3:15s, 3:42s and 3:73s. Thanks for the input.

ps, I'll be doing it myself.
Go with the Yank SS3600 & 3.73 gears. My car has H/C, I ran the very similar ST3500 and 3.73s in my car. It was a great combo that gave great performance and driveability.

So would 3:15s or 3:42s be a waste of time? And what would be a typical price for that converter, and what would be a typical price for 3:73s for the c5?
