Electrical -dash lights - help
I was in the process of soldering in some blue leds into my AC panel yesterday. When I finished I plugged it in and I must have blown a fuse. The weird thing is I have no dash lights, backlights on the radio or a/c unit with the set to the on position. Also my headlights will turn on but no pop up. When I pull the key from the ignitionand open the door the exit lighting comes on and I get the dash lights, radio and HVAC backlights to come on. I unplugged the HVAC unit thinking I may have a short but that did not cure the problem.
Is there a fuse which contorls the backlighting when the key is in the on position? I have checked all the other ones and the appear to be fine. Could this be a problem with the BCM?
