WHY? It would be a whole lot cheaper to install an aftermarket forged stroker crank, and you end up with a stronger engine internally at less cost. Now if your C5 has 150,000 miles on it I can see some justification, otherwise it is just a waste of money.

maybe the real question to ask is if c5 headers will fit an ls2... because you want to put an ls2 engine in your c5 right?

ls2 heads probably have the same exhaust bolt pattern as an ls1/6, i bet that's about the only thing that could be different. but i'm not real sure.

Ls2 heads are Almost Identical to ls6 heads.
I actually plan on swapping in a 6.0 Stroker not an ls2.

Your question is misleading.

You have a C5, so no matter what LS-series motor you run, you will be running C5 headers. Period. LS1, LS6, LS2, LQ4, etc, doesn't matter.

C6 headers have nothing to do with this, unless you have a C6.

Hope this helps.

Reason I mentioned c6 headers was for the fact the c6 is a 6.0 and i Will be swapping a 6.0 in my Car and wanted to know if i should go with the c6 headers for clearance issues becase of the bigger 6.0 Block
So should i order for the ls2 or ls1?

The 6.0 block isn't bigger at all, it's the same exact size. Displacement has little to do with the physical size of the block.

C5 headers are C5 headers. Car specific - not engine specific. The engine doesn't matter (unless you were using a different generation engine, which is not what you're talking about).

Just to clarify, there is no such thing as LS2- or LS1-specific headers for the C5. Just buy regular headers for your C5 and you'll be fine.

So what is so different about the c6 that the c6 headers wont work on the c5?

why are some of you talking about cranks when the person was asking about headers?

Anyways I dont think the headers will fit due to the routing or in other words the way they are bent. The only way to really know is to try it. So someone try it and get back to us.
