Default Glass top nosie

Does anyone know what to do when the glass top rubs?? The noise is driving me nuts, it's only makes noise on the drivers side where the lock is on the windshield. Is there a lubricant that I can put on the weather stripping or directly onto the lock?? I hate driving the car it's so annoying, I've been driving my Jeep ( not much of a thrill).
thanks for nay help!!

The tightness of the latches can be adjusted...look for the adjusting bolts.

I recently had my top replaced under warranty for some cracks that were forming. The top never made any nosie before the new top. The dealer said they used my original hardware and just swapped it onto the new top. I rattled all the time.

I noticed that the screws that hold the front locks were real loose. They are not supposed to be totally tight because the bracket moves but mine were so loose that they rattled. I tightened them a bit so the bracket could still move but they don't rattle. Also, the rattle would go away when it was real hot outside.

Take a look at the screws on the front brackets of the lock down and see how loose they are.

My top was rattling real bad when I first bought my C5, I tightened all the bracket bolts and adjusted the hook in the rear, now its nice and silent
