Draining MN6 Question

I know this has probably been asked at least a dozen times but I can't find any links for it. Do you drain the tranny from the fill hole or is there another drain that I am missing? Seems like there should be a drain plug in the bottom.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes the drain plug is on the bottom.
Red line d4atf is good. It made a big improvement in mine!

Look close, there are two plugs, one fill and one drain. Be sure you can get the fill plug out before removing the drain. Sometimes they are really tight.

Owner's manual has a diagram of the location of the plug.

Remeber that you are going to need a small pump to refill it. When you drain stay clear of the outlet, it really comes out, ut the change really is a piece of cake.
