Default Mod fever! Need your opinion.

I've done the bolt-ons on my '00 6spd Coupe. (Borla cat back, Vararam, and 4.10's) I'm seriously considering a head/cam/LG header install, or possibly a Procharger set-up (7-8psi) instead. I'm only minutes away from ECS, and dealt with them on my gears, so I'd have them do either set-up. Any words of wisdom? My car is not a DD, but I want it to be fairly civil mannered if I'm not in "race" mode. I might run at E-town once in a while, but really just want a bad-azz street car. I'm thinking the 4.10's might be a bit low for the supercharged route? Help.

The perfect person to ask would be Chris at ECS since he does both H/C and FI. But IMO to get the kind of power you would get from a S/C you would need a very aggressive H/C setup that might not be too civilized for the street.

I think you are right, 4.10s would be a bit much with a S/C.

You upgraded from 3.42 to 4.10 and didn't change out the torque converter?

He is 6spd...no TC.
Give Chris a call...i'm sure he will discuss everything with you and give you your options for going either way.

Change your gears and go with the S/C and you will never regret it. Once you drive Chris's car you will agree with me and never look back.

I would be very leery of 4.10's and a supercharger. Traction will probably be non-existent in the first couple of gears.
