NEW Gears and Clutch..
Well I finally got my new clutch put in (Textralia) and my new gears 4.10's
SO far I am pretty happy with them.. the clutch grabs way better then stock..
I was wondering though I was thinking I would feel more of a difference with the 4.10 but I don't...is this normal.. I mean the car feels a little faster..
I guess we will have to wait untill the next time I hit the track to see..

I didn't notice that much of a difference besides you will be able to use sixth gear a lot more often. You will see a big difference at the track. If for some reason you don't, you may have the wrong ring and pinion in there. Hope not.

I'll be going to DTE in about a week and a half to get the 4:10's put in mine, everything I've read talks about a big SOTP difference. I don't really like hearing that you can't tell much difference from the 3:42's. Too much money not to feel much different. I guess you've really ran it up the rpm's thru each gear? Most people say it's like 50 or 100 hp added. Maybe I should of done something different with that money.

IT'S WORTH IT, I WAS JOKING! Just wanted to see what people would say. You may not be able to feel it if you are always frying your tires!
You can feel them for sure, it's like adding 50 hp to your car.

roughly 500 miles. you can still accelerate, but you need to be easy taking off and going around turns (I guess that is where the most stress is on the rear).
Chris at ECS basically told me to think I have a cup of Hot Coffee on the dash and try not to spill that coffee.
Dam those were the worse 500 miles in the vette....
