Default AC fan & cooling issues

AC fan settings 1 & 2 do not work. Settings 3, 4 and 5 are fine. Also noticed that the AC warms up at times when I get on the gas hard then comes back on when I hit a steady driving speed again. Any suggestions???

When you go WFO/WOT (Wide-Flippin'Open/Wide Open Throttle) the A/C compressor shuts off to avoid sapping HP. That explains the warming up but I can't explain the fan 1 & 2 thing.

How long are you at WOT before the A/C blows hot air? I have never experienced this in my car. Are you sure you dont need the system to be evacuated and re-charged?

1. Not sure it needs recharge blows very cold all the time.
2. When I hit WOT it shuts of instantly then comes back soon after I back off the gas.

I would start by testing the connections on the back side of your dial controller.

Is the blower relay built into that control module or is it external?

Ok, well the WOT cutoff on the compressor is normal. It is also programmatically adjustable with LS1 Edit and the likes. Almost all cars these days do this to maximize performance and save wear on the compressor. It sounds like you have a bad blower relay (what it would be in most cars.) What I don't know is whether or not that module is/includes the relay or if it's external. Sounds like you'll either need a relay or a control box.

Guess I'll have to get it checked out. Thanks
