How to adjust window height?
It's in the title. Tried the Tip In thing already. TIA!

I'll bring two the next time we get together ... You and I would end up looking like this
Seriously, air leak. Ever since I had my car in the shop (they had to remove the door to repair the bottom) I have this leak. I tried tipping the window in, it's "seated" on the weather strip, but not going up far enough. How was Willow Springs?

I too have some air noise at speeds over 80mph. Its always been there. Dealer said it was normal. If you can take your door apart and fix stuff and then put your car back together .... then you really are the "MAN"

Try this. I did and it works great. Instead of trying to adjust the glass, I read somewhere here on the CF to try to adjust the rubber weather stripping. My air leak was at the trailing edge of the glass near the top corner on my drivers side. I happened to have a thin wooden chop stick about 7in. long so I placed it vertically behind the crease or fold of rubber in that area which forced the rubber tighter to the glass. Bingo Baby.....it works great!

Hope you're having a good summer.
You shouldn't have any problem doing this on the horizontal rubber on the roof frame. Without running home to look at my car, I believe the stripping contour is basically the same. I closed the door with a dollar bill between the glass and the rubber to find the largest gap so I would know where to insert the wooden dowel. I'm sure someone might need something larger or smaller to place in there depending on the gap and noise level produced. The little chop stick just happened to work fine for me.
I haven't heard a peep from anyone about having another SCMR. I do a solo cruise almost everyweek somewhere down here in SD county, but really haven't seen anyone of our compadres since our April run. Summer is usually pretty busy for everyone but keep checking the Pacfic Events.

You can pull the door panel and with the window all the way up there are clamps that hold the glass to the sliders. There are 2 access holes in the door you'll prolly have to pull some black tape off to get to the bolts for the clamps.
Loosen the bolts and pull the glass up to where you need it. The clamps maybe somewhat stuck to the glass so you may have to just about unbolt the clamps to free the glass.
The job isn't hard just trial and error. If you haven't pulled a door panel there are 2 screws behind the pull handels that need to come out and then slide a screw driver between the panel and the door. Then slowly pop the plastic Christmas Trees that hold the panel on. I usually start in the corners first.
When you pull the panel off look at the bracket that holds the glass in place to see if there is an adjustment screw. When I changed the motors I tried to match the original as well as possible and didn't have to play with the height much. Its been a whicle since I changed out my power window motors. I had one go out and then the other a couple of months later
