Hello,
I have a 99 Silverado and have used hyper tech program module with
out problems. I'm buying a 99 LS1 six speed coupe next week, and
was wondering if the Hyper Tech programing module is the best brand to buy for Corvettes???
Thank you!
i can tell u that i ran the hyper tech tune on tues night and removed it and made another pass 30 minutes later and went .1 sec and .6 mph faster WITHOUT that waste of my 300 bucks, there ought to be a law against selling those wastes of money. It wont even allow u to calibrate for 3.73 gears i installed

HyperTech was the biggest waste of $350 bucks I have ever spent!!! Their customer service is horrible. Buyer Beware!!!Basically they are stealing money legally!!
My baseline run before the t-stat, performance program, shift firmness, extended shift points raised limiter and zo6 catback was 13.95 @102 with a 2.33 60ft.Something gave me .78 sec quicker quarter and it damn sure wasnt just the zo6 catback.Oh and I bought mine used for $200 shipped.
2.27 or .06 faster, other factors 1st runs were 80 degrees, 90% humidity, engine 205 degrees, runflat tires. Fast run 75 degrees 65% humidity, engine temp 178 degrees,Kumho mx tires.I did have an excel spreadsheet on exactly what the hypertech does compared to stock but deleted it accidentally, it does not change the fuel tables but relies on small timing advances on a cooler engine to gain HP...
I totally agree that there are better tune's than a hypertech. But I did get some gains in the qtr mile with mine. I think they are worth $100 but not much more.
